Joshi Pickles and Masala Industries is a family-owned business that has been preserving traditional recipes and expertise for generations—founded in 1964 by Late. Dattatrey Bhikaji Joshi and Late. Ramabai Dattatrey Joshi, the business started as a small venture selling homemade products such as Metkut, Chatni podi, Laddu, seviyan, and savouries. With the addition of a hand- pounding machine, the business expanded to include freshly pounded masala powder.
As the business was passed down to the next generation, Late.Yeshwant Joshi and Mrs. Jayashree Joshi, along with other family members, expanded the product line to include Vadiyum, Masalas and maharashtrian pickles.
The third generation, consisting of Mr. Upendra Joshi and Mrs. Aishwarya Joshi, and other family members, took the business to new heights by introducing South Indian Pickles, Traditional maharashtrian snacks & sweets. selling them from their own store and to supermarkets. Upendra Joshi also pioneered the packing services for people traveling abroad from Hyderabad since 1993.
Today, the fourth generation of the family, Sampada Joshi, Sugandha Joshi, and Swanand Joshi, has joined the business to continue the family traditions and provide the highest quality products to customers.
